FAQs
How do I decide which plan is best for me?
This depends on how much yoga you want to do and how often.
Many people find making a commitment by booking a class in advance helps them make time and space for themselves for their well-being and self-care. But we’re all unique creatures with varying lifestyles so you have a choice of options.
The monthly unlimited online Immerse pass allows you to try all the different styles and times each week. This can give you a good idea of what works best for you and will also support regular yoga practice.
How do I book and pay for a class?
You can book and pay for any class straight from the schedule above or use the Bookings button on the top right corner of the Home page on this website. Just click on the class you want to do and choose your date and time. You’ll be asked to pay by debit card when you book your class. You’ll receive a confirmation by email and another reminder 1 hour before the class is due to start.
How does a live stream class using Zoom work?
Natural Connection classes are currently delivered online and live using Zoom or outdoors. The Immerse class pass is valid for online live stream classes only.
You can sign up for a free Zoom account and download the software onto your device. The bigger the screen you can use the better.
How do I get into the class?
Once you’ve booked your class with Natural Connection you’ll get a confirmation email with the Zoom web link that you click on to join the class.
Please join a few minutes before the official start time so we can say hello and settle in. This also allows you to check your settings so you can see and hear properly before class begins.
A laptop or desktop computer positioned well will give you a great view though many people join online classes on tablets or their phones use what works best for you.
Can the teacher see me on Zoom?
It’s up to you whether you keep your video camera on or not during the class, though the Natural Connection teachers prefer to build a connection by being able to see people’s names and faces. Having your video on also helps the teacher support you to stay safe in your practice.
Does the teacher have to hear me on Zoom?
Usually, the teacher mutes all participants after people have arrived when the yoga starts. This stops people’s microphones from interacting and other background noises disturbing the class. You can also choose to mute yourself as soon as you arrive if you prefer, though the teacher always welcomes the opportunity to exchange a brief hello to each person if possible.
Can everyone else in class see and hear me on Zoom?
Not if you don’t want them to. You can arrive with your camera and your audio off and stay that way if you prefer.
I’ve booked a class but can’t make it - what can I do?
You can reschedule or cancel your class up to an hour before the class is due to begin. But please give as much notice as possible so someone else can take your place. We prefer you to rebook and come to another class within 2 weeks. This is much simpler and easier for us administratively. However, if this is impossible and you wish to request a refund please contact us directly to see if we can help.
Can I join a class at the last minute?
You can book and pay and receive your Zoom link up to just before the class begins. However, it’s best to allow more time so you can retrieve and click on the link, get into the class and settle in to make the most of your session.
How late can I join a class?
Please do your best to arrive a few minutes in advance of the class so you can settle in. We understand though that sometimes the unexpected happens and that may well mean you need our yoga even more that day. As an exception rather than the rule, you are welcome to join the class up to five minutes past the start time when it really is unavoidable.
When does my class pass or pack start?
You’ll receive a confirmation by email when you’ve paid for your class pass, then your pass or pack is ready to use straight away. It is valid for the next 4 weeks from that date.
How do I check my bookings and payments?
Just keep your booking confirmation email and use the link in that email message to reschedule or cancel a class if you need to up to one hour before the start time.
How do the payments work?
The four-week class pass is a subscription. The pass will automatically renew every four weeks and payment with be taken from the card you registered with. You can cancel your subscription at any time so that payment does not roll over into the next month. Booking this way saves you lots of time as well as lots of money!
How do I change or cancel my subscription?
The easiest way to cancel your subscription is to click on the link in your confirmation email. If you set up an account when you subscribed then you can also log in to your account in the scheduling panel above and manage your subscription from there..
Are in-person classes included in the class passes?
The class passes cover all Natural Connection online live stream classes.
For in-person classes involving venue hire and/or travel for the teacher, there will be either an additional charge or a separate fee depending on costs and the host venues’ bookings requirements.
So, for example, outdoor in-person classes at Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses must be booked and paid for separately through their website.
NB. When classes are taught in person while also being live-streamed, you can choose whether you attend online using your class pass or in-person which may require paying fees directly to the host organisation or additional fees to the teacher, depending on the venue set up.
What happens if the usual teacher is not here to teach a class?
We all need some time out sometimes, and yoga teachers are no exception. When a teacher is unavailable Natural Connection will usually provide a cover teacher or a link to a pre-recorded class.
Even when this is not possible, the economically priced unlimited monthly class pass allows for some downtime in both practitioners and teachers lives.
What happens if the schedule changes?
As much notice as possible will be given for any schedule changes though in this constantly changing time of Covid it is often not possible to plan ahead. We are all negotiating unprecedented and frequently changing restrictions that makes it tricky to plan as we used to.
If you do find you any changes don’t suit, you can cancel your unlimited online monthly class pass anytime so that it doesn’t roll over into the next month.
Can I share my class pass with friends and family?
Sorry, no. The class pass you book is for you. The only exception is when you or your friend books using one of your free guest passes.
How to the free guest passes work?
One free guest pass for any 1 Natural Connection class is available for every 3 months of your continuous subscription to Immerse. Just get in touch when you reach 3 months to receive your special booking code.
